Competition Terms and Conditions

Promoter

Enniscorthy Credit Union is the Promoter of the Competition.

General

  • 1 (one) Prize winner (€500)
  • All members from Enniscorthy Credit Union that are eligible for the Prize will be entered into the competition.
  • Entrants must be eligible to join Enniscorthy Credit Union – they must share our Common Bond.
  • If a member wishes to opt out of this competition at any time, please email the Promoter at info@enniscorthycu.ie.

Terms and Conditions for prize

  1. To be eligible for this competition you must either:
    • Open a Current Account and Debit Mastercard at Enniscorthy Credit Union and complete at least one (1) transaction using your Debit Mastercard® before 16/12/2023.
    • Be an existing cardholder who completes a transaction before 16/12/2023.
  2. The winner consents to their personal data being used and shared for the purposes of this competition.
  3. The Promoter will use your personal data to select and confirm the competition winners. Any personal data collected will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
  4. Employees of the Promoter, the Board of Directors, committee members, volunteers & their families (spouse, parent, sibling, grandparent and/or “step” are excluded from taking part in the competition.
  5. If you meet the competition eligibility criteria, you are automatically entered into the competition.
  6. The Prize draw will take place during the week commencing 18 December 2023 with the winner informed once done.
  7. The winner will be notified by the Promoter that they have won the Prize by telephone and/or in writing, by email.
  8. The Promoter deems the notification to be received one business day after communicating the prize winner to the Credit Union.
  9. The winner will have 5 business days from receipt of the winning notification to accept the Prize. Acceptance of the Prize must be provided by the Prize winner. If the winner does not accept the Prize, they must communicate this decision, in writing, to Enniscorthy Credit Union within 5 business days. If the Prize is rejected, or the Prize winner fails to respond to their Credit Union within 5 business days, the Prize will then be offered to entrants in the order in which they were drawn. If the winner accepts the Prize, they will be the winner for the purpose of the remaining Terms and Conditions.
  10. By accepting the Prize, the winner agrees to their personal data being used for the purposes of fulfilment of the Prize.
  11. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  12. The Promoter reserves the right to declare the draw void if it considers it unreasonable that the draw should proceed, whether due to an administrative error or otherwise.
  13. The Main Prize winner must be aged 12 or over.
  14. Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable.
  15. The Promoter may at its absolute discretion dispose of the Prize without liability to the winner.

Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely for the purposes of this promotion by the Promoter and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose without the individual’s prior consent. By entering this promotion, you consent to the use of your personal data by the Promoter for the purposes of administration of the promotion (including publishing your full name and county if you are the winner) and any other purposes to which you have consented.
